Agassiz Part Two

This week I got a chance to go back to Agassiz National Wildlife Refuge (The wolf place), with the other crew from Bemidji. We spent a couple of days applying herbicide to an invasive grass species along some drainage ditches within the refuge. Then the last day we had there was spent felling trees which felt good to do since it has been a long time since we got the chainsaws out. We got a chance to go wolf howling again and I got a picture of what that looks like to give you a better idea, but no wolves. I did get to see a moose though. And I tried my best to get a picture of her. Cool to see an animal of that size. Anyways this week we are going to be transplanting an endangered flower species, so something new to look forward to there. Hope everyone Is doing well, and I am looking forward to seeing everyone when I come home for Labor day!

The term "Swamp Donkey" just made me laugh out loud! So cool to hear what you've been up to, I'm getting ready to go back to school tomorrow (Booooooo)- I have no idea where this summer has gone, but I know I'm not ready to let it go! Looking foward to seeing you soon!
ps) as a part of my Forensic Imaging class this semester I had to go out and buy one SICK camera, so I took it to the lake while Brian and I played on the waverunner, here is the link to see the pictures- there are some really sweet action pics of Brian- and some duck pictures that I took at the Park...enjoy!

Awesome that you were able to spot a moose. My ma saw the picture and said she wishes she was able to see one!
Anyways: Dont have too much fun up there.
Maybe well spot you on Labour day weekend, maybe not. Either way, expect a call on September 10th for the season opener.

Glad you guys liked the moose pictures! Before I left up here I wanted to see a moose and a wolf... Well I've done that now. I am so gratefull for all of the oppertunities that I have been given up here, don't know if I deserve them all but I'll take em none the less.
Broncos not so much :0 Brandon Marshall is a moron!.!. Looking forward to seeing No Shawn carry the ball.
I should be around the Lafayette area for most of labor day week... I have a total of 9 days off, so look me up if you get bored or time or both.
Brett Favre Blah blah blah... Vikes will be a real threat this year, I doubt I will be picking against them as much as I would like too
As far as after up here it is still WAY up in the air, I am just afraid that if I go home I will be bored now that I have gotten on this adventure kick I might want to stay on it for a while...The whole thing weighs on me pretty hard, but that's part of being a man and growing up (Yuck!!!)
